Summary
What a fantastic opportunity to learn how to take a car up to its limit. Drifting has become a massively popular motorsport across the world over recent years and here is your chance to learn from top professionals. Drifting is the art of making a car move forwards while it's at a 45 degree angle to the road! You'll actually be spending more time looking out the side window than you would out of the front windscreen! It's total madness! Drifting requires immense skill so you'll need to pay attention if you want to become an expert at it.

Detail
Your introduction to drifting will start with a safety and technique briefing which is followed by the instructor getting you familiarised with the car. Then your instructor will teach you important aspects to drifting, such as a cars weight distribution and throttle balance. There are two different drifting styles you will learn. There is controlled powerslides where you will use the rear of the car to steer, moving forwards while the car is at 45 degrees to the track. Then there is the constant powerslide. For this you will drive a figure of eight by keeping the car in a permanent slide and using the throttle to make directional changes. The experience will end with a debrief and you will be given a certificate to remember your experience.

This experience will last approximately 1.5 hours.

Fitness Information
There is a a minimum height of 5ft and the maximum height is 6ft 4in. The maximum weight is 18 stone.

Qualifications
All drivers will need to have held a full drivers licence for a minimum of one year which will need to be produced on the day.This is for a voucher entitling the holder to any of the activities supplied by CAAGIS up to the value stated.

The minimum age is 17 years old.
